Instructional Weekend
Several times a year we organize instruction weekends, see agenda. During such a weekend more attention is paid to the theoretical and riding technical side of riding.
An instructional weekend begins Friday evening and ends Sunday afternoon. You can stay overnight with us, we have completely renovated dormitories and bathroom facilities.
During the weekend, there will be one ride on Friday evening and two rides on Saturday and Sunday. Among other things, film recordings of the lessons will be made so that they can be discussed afterwards.
We also organize special jumping instruction weekends where extra attention is paid to jumping.
Instructional Day
In addition to instruction weekends, we also organize instruction days. An instruction day lasts from about 9:30 am to 5:00 pm. The program of an instruction day is as follows:
Reception with coffee/cake, lesson, lunch, theory lesson, class, conclusion.
The cost of an instruction day is €125 per person, for Poelenburgh members with riding horses €100 and for members with their own horse €80.
It is possible to bring your own horse during the instruction weekend or instruction day. If you mention this on the registration form, we will make sure there is a box free when you arrive.
Your registration is final when half of the fee is paid in advance.

During this weekend, outdoor riding (video) takes center stage, so enjoy forest/dune rides and beach rides every day. It is also good preparation for obtaining the equestrian license.

Busy Busy… We all know it. Sometimes we get stuck in patterns; with your family, your relatives, at work and with all the opinions others have about you. Need some time for yourself and to think about what you really care about. Now is the time!
Choose for yourself, two days to pause and distance yourself from all daily worries. Connect with the pace of the horses, work with yourself and be pampered.
Enjoy the tranquility of the Schoorl dunes and beach and a wonderful relaxing massage. Enjoy nature and healthy exercise along the beach. Nothing must, everything is allowed.

Horsemen's License Weekend
During the SRR Equestrian License Weekend, you can get your equestrian license in one weekend. For riders who ride a lot outside the equestrian center grounds, the rider’s license is indispensable, as it indicates that the rider has learned to ride safely and responsibly outside.
If there are too few participants, the date of the equestrian license weekend may be rescheduled.
Requirements for participants:
- minimum age 12 years
- minimum dressage level B, F7 or D7
- mastery of the illuminated seat
- some jumping experience
- outdoor riding experience
- Knowledge of general traffic rules
It is possible to bring your own horse during the Riding License Weekend. If you mention this on the registration form, we will make sure that a box is free when you arrive. There is no extra cost for this.
