Our spacious accommodation is due to its beautiful location in a wooded area very suitable for a varied vacation, which is not only limited to horseback riding.
Accommodation van Poelenburgh is in fact centrally located; forest, dunes, beach, vast polders, cozy villages and towns within a radius of 15 km.
Our accommodation is located 10 minutes by bike from the center of Bergen or center of Schoorl with cozy nightlife, restaurants, beautiful stores, museums and so on. In the woods and dunes you will find miles of bridle paths as well as varied hiking trails, bicycle paths and challenging courses for the avid mountain biker.
Accommodation van Poelenburgh has six fully furnished apartments for two to eight people, a group accommodation for 20 people, a group accommodation for 32 people and a beautiful luxury farmhouse suitable for 17 people. The apartments are fully furnished and equipped with all amenities with private terrace. The group accommodations have luxury dormitories with spacious bathrooms, fully equipped kitchen, large dining tables, sitting area and a private terrace with outdoor kitchen. Last but not least our beautiful luxury farmhouse with 7 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a very spacious living room, fully equipped kitchen and a very large garden.
Of course you can bring your own horse during your stay. Please mention this with your reservation. We ensure that spacious, clean boxes are ready for you. Box hire includes straw, hay and concentrates. Of course you may also use our facilities such as two indoor riding arenas, two outdoor riding arenas, several paddocks, lunging corral, solarium, etc. Extra service: parking of car and trailer on our own property, possibility to charge your electric car.
Stable rental costs €45 per night. If you choose to rent the stable for two or more nights the cost is €40 euros per night. If you rent a stable in combination with a vacation apartment, the cost is €35 euros per night.
Before or during your stay, we can inform you about mountain bike and bicycle rentals, outdoor rides, cycling and hiking routes, public transportation and various events in the area.
